Who these terms are for
These terms cover two things: browsing this website, and using the WorklikeGenie application once a company has set it up. If your company has a separate signed agreement with WorklikeGenie, that agreement governs where it conflicts with this page.
The service
WorklikeGenie is a distributor management system (DMS): a hosted application that a company, its distributors and its retailers use to manage billing, orders, stock and coverage. We host and run the application. Under our bring-your-own-cloud (BYOC) model, the company itself owns and hosts its own database and file storage -- we read from and write to it on the company's behalf, but we do not own that underlying infrastructure or the business data in it.
Accounts
- A company admin (or WorklikeGenie, on their behalf during onboarding) creates the company's account and adds its users.
- Each user is responsible for keeping their own login credentials confidential.
- A company admin can suspend or remove a user's access to its own account at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to store or transmit anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to access another company's data, or another user's account, without authorization.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use the AI features (Ask Genie, suggested orders, market-size estimates) as the sole basis for a decision without your own judgement -- they are estimates built from your own data, not guarantees.
Your data
Business data entered into WorklikeGenie -- invoices, orders, bills, partner records -- belongs to the company that entered it. We don't claim ownership of it, and under the BYOC model it lives in infrastructure the company itself controls. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and performant, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access -- planned maintenance, and factors outside our control (including the availability of a company's own database and storage, since we read from it live), can affect uptime.
Fees
Pricing is agreed directly with each company (hello@worklikegenie.com for a quote). We don't publish a fixed price list on this website.
Termination
A company may stop using WorklikeGenie at any time. Since business data lives in the company's own database and storage under BYOC, that data remains with the company regardless of whether it continues using the WorklikeGenie application to access it.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and tell active customers directly about significant changes.
